All things Shopify and commerce
Hi I'm relatively new to Shopify.
We imported two customer lists that we collected at trade shows back in 2015. Most of those customers aren't active, we'd like to purge them. The lists are written in the notes. So, how do we search for a word that is in customer notes? We have 15k customers, we can't go through each note by hand.
Same problem here. Seems like a basic feature to be able to search all fields, including text fields, but it doesn't seem to work.
Terrible! Can't search notes in an order either.
So for example;
I add @ customers IG to the notes so I know who I'm talking to, but after 500 or so I just realized I can't ever search for that in customer notes or order notes.
Anyone have a better workaroud than buying some app that does what Shopify should do anyways OR
exporting a .csv and searching through that. ..?
The solution might be here: (https://shopify.dev/docs/themes/customer-engagement/additional-customer-information#:~:text=The%20cu....)
I'm also looking for a solution for this. It seems like it could be solved with some coding but I'm not knowledgeable enough to know where to start.
When searching customers, Shopify has the filters that is basically pre-written code, so I assume we could manual type our own string?
How is this not fixed so we can search customer notes? Shopify??
