I can't see anyway of seeing this data or am I missing something? Our Shopify analytics are the most accurate so I would prefer to be able to access this info in Shopify opposed to have to go to GA.

Hi @WhaleOfATime1

Great question.

So far I believe the Shopify Analytics and Shopify Marketing sections do not yet have this chart/ option.

However, the closest metrics that you can get to this are:

  1. Sell-through rate by product (Category: Inventory)
  2. ABC analysis by product (Category: Inventory)
  3. Profit by product (Category: Profit margin)
  4. Sales by product (Category: Sales)

To view these metrics, go to Reports > search for "by product" > et voila 🙂

You can read more about Shopify Reports here. Hope it helps.

Hi,

As far as I know Shopify does not offer this kind of analytics, but there are many apps that are built in order to fulfil this need.

Such is our app, Datma, Product intelligence , designed exactly for this need, to better understand your products/catalog and how users interact with it. It operates its own tracking system (based on Shopify Pixel, so the data is reliable as its captured by Shopify). It is a one click install and comes with a generous 30 day free trial so you can get to evaluate thoroughly. You can also take a quick look at our demo, no registration or login required: https://demo.datma.io .  And this is a link to a product report which a lot of relevant metrics (you can see what else is available clicking Edit columns): https://demo.datma.io/shopify/reporting/metrics/1416  - not all data is available in demo, but you can create an impression what it delivers.

It combines data from Shopify APIs and with the tracking data it really gives a great tool to those who want to be data driven.

Best,

Peter @ Datma
