All things Shopify and commerce
We are a brick and mortar store with a tremendous amount of skus and perform an annual inventory in January which takes 2 days. We used to use scanners that collected data counts and uploaded that to our quickbooks program. Now that we are with Shopify we use SocketMobile scanners which do NOT hold data. Does anyone else have a similar situation with a brick and mortar store? How do you do your annual inventory? Our computers live in a back office but we need to use scanners out on the floor to do the counts, concerned about the distance/signal with scanner and computer. Do you take laptops out to the floor and use scanners to count? Do you use a scanner that holds data or do you have to scan an item as many times as what the count is? Any help is greatly appreciated!
