All things Shopify and commerce
Hi,
So I'm setting up the (very fun) task of shipping now. I'm shipping internationally from the UK but have varied rates depending on product and location.
My question is, if I set a specific rate for one product and a different rate for another product, what happens if a customer tries to buy both? Does one shipping rate override the other?
Any clarification is appreciated!
Hi, @Hudlum!
Great question. Generally speaking, shipping rates are combined at checkout when there are multiple rates. We have a detailed help document on combined rates at checkout with many specific examples that I recommend reading through to understand further.
Let me know if you have any further questions after going through the document. Do you have any other shipping questions? We have a lot of great help documentation on shipping and delivery, so I'd be happy to point you in the right direction if you have more questions!
