How does refund processing work on Shopify?

Hi,

I processed my first refund yesterday, I know it can take about 10 days for the money to appear on the customer's original payment method.

I have a few questions:

- Once a refund is complete does Shopify automatically close the order down?

- Does it show on the order screen refunded?

- Does it show a complete breakdown what was refunded together with any credit card fees I paid?

Yes, the order will show as Refund completed once the refund is processed and the customer will receive the money in the next few days.
