How long does it take shopify to actually do work and help with a USPS claim????

Still waiting from October 2023 for 2 open claims with USPS "price adjusting" 2 orders.

I shipped an order in a 24x8x8 box and correct weight as I round up. I get a price adjustment of over $130 and USPS claims that the package size was 46XsomethingXsomething I cant recall. I don't even use that size box nor do I have them here to use. I recreated the same order again, submitted photos and evidence showing that the same exact order again fit in a 24x8x8 box like the original and the weight was within 5oz of the original package and proved that USPS is wrong. Well, 8 months later and I'm still waiting on my credit and it just seems like Shopify is not doing anything about it to help.

Now USPS is charging me here and there "Price Adjustments" that literally show the weight is less that what I claimed and the box size might be off by an inch but if I recreated the order with the size they are claiming it would be the same cost as the box I said it was.

Ship in a 9x6x6 box and claimed 20oz weight. USPS charges me $2.25 extra on a price adjustment and they claim the box was 9x7x6.7 and weighs 18oz. How are they charging that extra when the weight is less and the box size doesn't change the cost if I were to have used the size they claim it is??? I feel like USPS is just ripping people off with these adjustments because not everyone checks their shipping fees

hi @BooCocky I am pretty sure the rate adjustment is happening due to dimensional weight. Your box size is (way) bigger in comparison to the weight of your products. For example, the dimensional weight according to the box size 24x8x8 is closer to 10 lbs (9.25 lbs). Hence, USPS will be charging you for 10lbs. 

Kindly verify the same with USPS and check if the shipment's dimensional weight is causing the price adjustment.
