HOW TO ACCESS MANAGE DNS

I buy a domain form shopify and i use third-party hosting service is zoho. I wanna create my email like this "mail.mydomain.com". I follow this link:  https://www.zoho.com/mail/help/adminconsole/custom-url.html   .

Could you tell me how to login to my domain's DNS Manager??? please give me link, account & password.

Hey Hoang, 

I'm Ann, from the team here at Shopify 🙂

When it comes to a domain purchased from Shopify, you can access the DNS settings right from your Shopify admin! To do that, head to Online Store>Domains then click on the domain you want to edit, and you'll see a page where you can hit 'DNS Settings'. You can make any changes you need to there, then just hit 'Save'.

You can see these steps in more detail on this page in our Shopify Manual.

thank for your clear explanation - but for some reason i cannot see the DNS link on the Domain page of my online store 

can you advise the reason? - because i was trying to verify my Facebook in order to proceed with Instagram shopping

You will only see the Manage button if you have the permissions to access the Domain.

And you will only see an option to manage DNS if you bought the domain from Shopify.

I'm trying to connect my site to instagram shop and it says i have to go to the dns settings but I'm unable to change anything. i bought my domain from godaddy

Hi have the same issue, I bought my domain from godaddy and now cant find DNS records section in shopify to connect to Facebook business manager. What can I do??

Managing your DNS records in Shopify will only be available for Shopify managed domains. If you purchased your domain from GoDaddy, then you will need to log in to your GoDaddy account to manage the DNS records for your domain. If you need assistance with updating your DNS records for your GoDaddy domain, then I would recommend contacting GoDaddy Support here.

Hi there,  I can't seem to access my DNS settings.  My website Has gone live and everything is a mess and complicated with Shopify.

I cannot find my DNS settings ANYWHERE!!! I've logged queries and shopfiy doesn't get back to me.

Hi @SammiP84 

From your screenshot it looks like your domain was purchased through a third party domain provider that uses Tucows as the host. 

This means that you will need to sign into the account through the domain host themselves to update and edit the DNS information. The settings within your Shopify admin for domains will only be to fetch the DNS records you have setup on the domain host and to choose what domain is the primary domain for your online store.

2. Click Domains

3. Look below the words (Change primary domain) you'll see     <  dots  > click the right angle until you see below, the word, Manage

4. Click Manage

5. Click DNS settings

6. Click Add custom record
