All things Shopify and commerce
Hello,
As we are selling full price and outlet products, we need to specify in the order which one is full price and which one comes from the outlet so the warehouse will know which packaging they have to use for each one.
I know how to add a TAG for the whole order, but I need to know how to add the TAG in the order only for the product from the outlet. These products are already tagged in the product information so its easy to identify them.
Using the workflow, it should be like the following. I have tried but didn't find how to do it:
Order Created -> Then Check if the product has tag OUTLET -> Do add tag OUTLET in the order for this product
If this is for notification templates(order, fulfillment, etc) just access the line items > product > tags in liquid logic to put in a message from some lines.
Or metafields, or use hidden line item properties
👩💻tags exist on some resources(products, orders, customers, etc) not on sub properties(line-item,variant,address) of a parent resource.
