how to add annoucement bar in spotlight theme

how to add annoucement bar in spotlight theme, currently it doesnt have any bar above header ,and i cant find any way to add

Wondering the same.  Spotlight 11.0 release notes clearly state Announcement bar is an option.  I'm not seeing any place to add it.  I have a "normal" Shopify account for another business and the option is right there in the theme settings.  Can someone from Shopfiy please advise on how to enable using Spotlight.

 Find your header section. 

Instead of “Add block” beneath the header, add “Add section” from the top right corner within the header section.

 

Select “Announcement bar” to add.

 

Once it’s added, edit the header and move the announce bar above Header and save.

Announce bar should appear. Hope it helped.
