How to add company address to footer in Brooklyn Theme?

Hi there hopefully a simple task.  I would like to add my company's physical address to the footer.  Not a clickable link just the address for people to see where we are.  I have contact us pages setup but I want the ability to show our address easily.

Hyde here from Shopify.

It's a great idea to have your address in the footer, however, the Brooklyn theme isn't formatted for that.

You may have noticed when you click on the Footer option in your theme editor that it only provides the option to link a menu:

That said, there is a workaround: you could add a section to your store. For example, you could add a map for example or an image with the address alongside it:

If none of these are quite what you're looking for, you could look at swapping themes to a theme like Minimal, which offers a more customizable Footer:

Thanks for your answer. The issue I guess is that we can't place this section under the footer. is there any workaround for that please ?

If you're looking to achieve something beyond what is natively offered by the default theme, I'd have to recommend you hire the services of a Shopify Expert. Shopify Experts are a team of third-party developers who can make custom changes to your store on a contracted basis. As with all Expert contracts, requirements and prices are agreed upon before any work commences, so you can always check in with a few different Experts to ensure you're getting what you want for a competitive price.

bit silly that we can't add the address to the footer when its a worldwide legal requirement as an e-commerce business to have a physical address shown in the footer

@alysiumbeauty As you can see in the Brooklyn Theme help document, you totally can add the address to the footer, by making it a clickable link in the menu:

In other words, you can add a Contact Us page to the Footer Menu in your store, and include the address on your Contact Us page!
