How to add sub categories on page and not in menu

How can I add sub categories on my pages so customers can get to specific product types?

I know how to add sub categories in my menu but I want the actual page to have clickable links to sub categories like what is on this website here:

You can display subcategory by adding collection on that page.

To add sub-categories on page on Shopify, you can follow 5 steps below: 

1. Checking theme setting

2. Editing the theme.liquid file of your theme

3. Adding a drop-down menu to the category page

4. Adding radio button to the category page

5. Editing drop-down menu styling

I definitely appreciate the desire to feature sub categories on a page, rather than just on a menu. You can absolutely do this on Shopify! We have a great tutorial here, which goes through steps to feature a subset of collections on a page - essentially making a collection of collections. Based on what you've described, and the example you shared, it appears that this tutorial is exactly what you're looking for!
