Hi @a_bains

To automatically update inventory quantities across all locations to match your default location in Shopify, you can use an inventory management app from the Shopify App Store.

Here are a few options that can help automate this process:

1. Stock Sync - Inventory Sync
- Automate inventory updates seamlessly across locations
- Schedule automatic syncing of quantities from your default location to other locations on a regular basis (hourly, daily, etc)
- Supports CSV, Excel, XML and other formats for bulk updates

2. Inventory Planner
- Provides customized inventory forecasting
- Allows you to easily update quantities across locations
- Sends low stock notifications to avoid stockouts

3. Syncio - Multi Store Sync
- Sync inventory quantities and product details across multiple Shopify stores/locations
- Schedule automatic inventory updates
- Supports bulk editing via import/export

The general steps would be:

1. Install one of these inventory management apps in your Shopify store
2. Configure the app to recognize your default/primary location
3. Map the inventory fields between your default location and other locations
4. Set up an automatic sync on your preferred schedule (e.g. daily) to push the quantities from the default location to all other locations

This will ensure all your locations always reflect the same available inventory quantities as your main location without any manual effort. The app will handle updating the quantities everywhere on a regular automated schedule.

Some key features to look for:
- Multi-location inventory syncing
- Scheduled auto-updating of quantities
- Bulk editing support via CSV/Excel
- Low stock alerts

So in summary, using an inventory management app like Stock Sync, Inventory Planner or Syncio is the best way to automate syncing inventory from your default Shopify location to all other locations on a set schedule. This will save you the manual work of updating quantities individually.
