I want to create my own. They categories they have is not what i want. Is there anyway to achieve this?

Hi @cancase ,

To create a product category in Shopify, follow these steps:

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Products.

2. Click on a product to edit it, or add a new product.

3. In the Category section, enter your products category and select the most accurate result from the Category list.

4. You can also click through each level of the categories and subcategories to find the most accurate product category.

5. Click Save to apply the changes.

If you want to create custom category metafields, you can do so by adding new entries in the metafields section after selecting the category.

To add or change category name:

1. Log in to Shopify Admin:

   • Go to the Products section.

2. Edit Product:

   • Click on the product you want to modify.
   • Scroll down to the Category section.
   • Under Category, you can add or change category name for this product.

Hello there @cancase  you should the simple steps for either desktop or mobile here in this official Shopify guide https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/custom-data/metafields/category-metafields/add-category-metafield... and you’ll be able to edit and add new category names as you like.
