How to connect existing website to shopify store without losing previous data from the old website

Hi all,

I have a website that is not a store that is hosted by GoDaddy, I have created a store on Shopify, how do I connect my existing website and Shopify store without losing my data from the existing website.

the main concern is to remove myshopify from the URL,

I have inserted a tab on my existing website to redirect it to the Shopify store but I want to remove myshopify from the URL because it's annoying when I send out a link to customers for purchase

You could connect your store as a subdomain. If your website is current website mysite.com you could make the shopify store store.mysite.com
