How to create a form in product page, and then change product price based on form inputs?

We make containerboard and cartonboard things. For example, we make corrugated boxes. Without using apps, as they seem to be costly, we wanted to create a form with length, width and height as user inputs. We then wanted to change price based on calculation using the user inputs.

For now, let us say, we want to set price as user input "height". Can you all please suggest me how to attain this?

We cannot change the price based from the store front.

If we have any specific logic regarding the price change based on the user input "height", we can add another product for example, cartonboard  customization namely and adjust the price accordingly.

This can be done using custom coding in the theme, request you to refer the video how we implement the similar thing in store.

@Optimal080 , If you want to do this without using 3rd party apps. You can probably play around with the unit pricing of the product.

For example 1 square inch of cardboard costs 10 cents, you can price your product as 10 cents(for 1 unit).

Now you can create a form for height and width, whose value will update the value of quantity in the Add to Cart form, which will further change the total price.

This is just a simplified example. In case you want to give discounts on the basis of quantity, then you will have to use a third party app for tiered pricing.
