How to create a discount code specifically for registered customers of the app smile.io?

Since Shopify doesn’t support direct discount codes for specific customer segments yet, here’s a way to create exclusive discount codes for your Smile.io-registered customers:

1. Tag Smile.io Customers: Start by adding a unique tag to all customers registered through Smile.io, like "Smile_Customer" (you can do this manually or automatically through Smile.io’s settings if available).

2. Create a Customer Segment: Using this tag, create a customer segment on Shopify with the Smile.io tag filter to isolate these specific customers.

3. Generate Discount Code: Set up a general discount code in Shopify that’s not limited to a specific segment but keep it exclusive by sharing it only with your Smile.io customers.

4. Share the Code via Email: Email this code to your Smile.io customers directly. This way, it remains exclusive to them without technically segmenting in Shopify.

This approach gives registered Smile.io customers exclusive access to the discount, even if it can’t be limited to them directly within the Shopify discount settings.
