How to customize and edit code in Crave theme?

I am using the Crave theme but for a clothing and accessories store and I want to be able to change the banners and customize each page so they look slightly different but it seems anytime I do that in customization it changes whatever I add to all pages. I looked up tutorials on how to edit code to the theme but Crave doesn't have the .liquid files to edit but they seem to be .json files.

Any help would be appreciated.

yes!! It would be complex to paste the code here. Alternatively, search for "shopify breadcrumbs" on you tube.  You will find lots of videos on you tube. Please mark this as solution if that helps.

Thanks

You can add a banner section, and use an image by connecting the dynamic source.

first,  if you add a banner to the page, add the page metafields. If you add a banner to the collection, add the collection metafields.

type is file.

and then, just upload the corresponding picture for each page.

Hi you can do that with then help of templates(easy to setup, less customizable) or metafields( more customizable).

for example lets say you have clothing and shoes and you want different setting for them.

Then

1) create a new template in theme customizer in products (lets say shoes)

2) assign products to that template from you admin > products >  select any shoe > assign template "shoes"

rishi1897_0-1685610938212.png

then, assign all shoe products to shoes template and

Similarly do for clothing, now you can have separate settings for clothing and shoes.

Note : for customizing shoes, select product template shoes from theme customizer,  and only those shoes which have been assign template will be customized.

If you need more detailed help/customization , let me know Cheers!!

Thank you! I managed to figure out how to do different banners on different pages but I'm having an issue where I can find the page within a page to edit its own border. for eg ive got tshirts and that has a banner now and on that page is a collection men/women. so when you click on one of them it takes to corresponding page with linked items but I cant change the banner on that page so I want a female mock up banner for female and one for male etc..

ok.

most simply you can do this.

1) go to admin > products > collection > men/women collection assign required image there

2) goto theme customizer > the required page > add image banner in section

rishi1897_1-1685690427822.png

3) at add image input box. click dynamic source icon

4) click on image

you store will be like:

Thanks for all your help! Im slowly getting the hang of it. I did want to add a back button to each page too, so the customer has the ability to just go to the previous page and not get frustrated and leave cause theres no option. I did have one which I learnt how to do the edit code through youtube but its since disappeared since I started playing around with designing the pages. Is there a simple code for this?
