All things Shopify and commerce
After thoroughly testing my website I need to remove/delete the existing data analytics (site visits, locations etc.) that are present from my testing and having other folks review the site. I've seen a number of posts that indicate you need to go into the Reports and click "Delete" but I do not see this as an option. Has anyone successfully done this and know how to actually do it?
Thank you.
Can you show where the delete or clear button is?
Any news here?
None. I was hoping to clear the data before I went live so it wasn't skewed but it's not possible. Went live so I didn't have to wait on Shopify.
Hi, there! I don't believe it's possible to completely delete data from your analytics, but I can definitely look into this further for you if you tell me more about the data you are trying to delete. In the meantime I'd recommend filtering your analytics by date so you can filter out data from the time you were still testing.

No need. I wasn't going to wait on Shopify so I just went live.
Thanks.
