How to disable newsletter popup prestige theme?

How can i disable a newsletter popup in prestige theme?

Hey @pochis,

Do you have a third-party app installed on your store for the popup? If so, normally there would be a setting within the app that will allow you to disable the feature.

If you're using a theme with a native popup functionality though, you can navigate to Online store > Customize, and check the Theme settings > Popup section to see if there's a setting to change the frequency of your popup. 

Otherwise, you will need to access the theme code. Here are the steps:

1. Go to your Shopify admin and click on "Online Store" and then "Themes."

2. Find the Prestige theme and click on the "Actions" button, then select "Edit Code."

3. In the theme code editor, navigate to the "Layout" folder, and then open the "theme.liquid" file.

4. Search for the code related to the newsletter popup. It should look something like this: {% include 'newsletter-popup' %}.

5. Delete that line of code or comment it out by adding {% comment %} before the code and {% endcomment %} after the code.

6. Save your changes and the newsletter popup should no longer appear on your store.

Important Coding Reminders:

• If you make changes to the original code and save the changes, we always suggest you first duplicate the theme and work in the duplicate. That way you can always go back to your previous version.

• If you make changes to the original code in a theme and update your theme to a newer version in the future it will override past changes.

• If you need custom changes but would prefer the help of a developer we recommend Shopify's own Expert Marketplace.

• If you've changed theme files and need to revert them, you can roll back .liquid files individually to a time and date before you made the changes.

Hello, we don't have this "popup section". We are using the impact theme, how can we deactivate the popup?
