How to display conditional text for certain products?

Hi there!

I am trying to make a line of text only show for certain products. Certain products have a revenue split with a charity, and for those products I want to have a line of text under the buy button saying "This product supports a good cause! Learn more" with the "Learn more" being a hyperlink.

Any ideas how I can go about this via metafields or conditional text blocks w tags? I'm not much of a tech person so the more explanation, the better.

Hi Meg! I wanted to share that this can actually be done using product page templates on any newer Shopify theme. 

Templates are used to provide this kind of unique page setup for specific products/collections/pages on your store. 

In your theme editor for your theme you can click the drop down menu at the top (Home Page) and go to Products > Create Template. Base it off of the original product page and then add in that line of text you want to add to these products. 

Once done, you can save the template and update the product to point to the new product page template in the product details.
