So the paid amount is 10,900. But we need to change it to 10,000. Is there any way to do that?
Apparently one of our team didn’t give the customer correct pricing in Shopify and marked it as "Paid" but our customer already paid the 10,000 in check.
Can i add a discount or something? How do i do that please thank you!
You can adjust the amount by issuing a partial refund. Go to the order in Shopify admin, click "Refund," and enter $900.
This will bring the total to $10,000. If a discount is more appropriate, edit the payment section and add a custom discount to reduce the total.
This will fix the amount to match what the customer paid.
If this fixed your issue, likes and accepting as a solution are highly appreciated

Hi there, @rnzmracn! Thank you for taking the time to reach out to the Shopify Community Forums with your question around editing this pricing on this order. My name is Imogen. It's good to meet you!
Archived orders are unable to be edited once they are archived, so you won't be able to change the pricing directly on the order itself, or add a discount to the order to adjust the price you've marked down as paid. You can leave a note as part of the order timeline in order to keep a record of the fact that the price you actually collected from the customer was 10,000, and not 10,900, for later reference.
You are able to unarchive the order and make some edits then, but you won't be able to make adjustments to the product if it's been fulfilled, nor can you add a negative dollar amount item to the draft order to account for the pricing adjustment.
If this order was a draft order with payment collected manually, I do have something to suggest. I was doing some testing on my own store with some draft order functionality. If the funds were collected from this invoice manually (you mentioned payment was collect by 'check' in your post) and marked as such on the draft order invoice, then you should be able to 'refund' the extra 900 that was written down as collected via the 'Refund' button that appears on the top of the order page. This allows you to manually 'refund' that extra recorded $900 to reduce the amount collected to the accurate number for your bookkeeping. I have an example screenshot here to show you what I mean:
In my screenshot, I have the option to 'refund' an item from an order that I made as a draft order and collected the payment manually for. As a result, when I opt to attempt a 'refund', I'm presented only with the option to provide one manually, as no payment method information was exchanged with me as the business during this transaction with the user, the refund has to happen externally. This would allow you to manually 'refund' that extra 900 your team-member recorded and allow your actual 'paid' amount to be corrected to 10,000 as desired.
I recognize that this functionality to adjust the value of a manually collected payment for a draft order invoice would be helpful to you, so if you like, I can pass along a request to be able to make price adjustments on draft order after they have been fulfilled to our developers!

Hey Imogen, I appreciate your detailed info on this! I tried to unarchive it and check it in the drafts but the refund option isnt appearing for me. I do see a refund option but it's connected to a third-party app. Can you please help me adjust the amount? I will send the exact amount of it
Hi @rnzmracn. Thank you for sending that update.
I'm not able to make those kinds of changes on your behalf. I notice that the refund option does appear for the Reoccurring Orders app, was this purchase subscription based?
