All things Shopify and commerce
I moved my hosting to shopify last week. Now my www website does not work. The direct site does.
I see a notice regarding issues but am not sure how to access the domain settings to fix this. With my old domain host I could have fixed it but again I’m not sure how to access this with Shopify hosting the domain.

Problem solved. I reset my DNS in the Shopify domain settings then added the www. CName record. That fixed it.
All done within Shopify. Just had to find the DNS settings.
Hi there,
If "approachrc.com" is the real domain in question, then it's currently using Squarespace/Google Domains DNS nameservers
If "Custom name servers" is blue, then the rest of the instructions is not going to work. If the section does look like the image above, read on.
Disclaimer: this is a "blind" suggestion and relies on you to correctly confirm, review, and implement everything. At your own risk, in other words. The good news is that all of this is reversible.
If you see the button "Manage custom settings", click it. Otherwise you should see the fields below
For "Host Name", enter "www"
For "Type" choose "CNAME"
These change may take up to 48 hours though it's likely to happen much faster. The "CAA" error usually disappears once the other settings propagate but there's no way to know until that happens. Come back to let us know how things go
