All things Shopify and commerce
Hi, for the last three months I have read about the Shopify 1 euro plan and I think I want to try it so that I can open my online store.
Joining is what is challenging for me because I am still green in this area; therefore could you advise me on the way forward?
By the way, does this plan still exist in 2025 or was it over-hyped? And if so should there be any particular procedure or link followed in obtaining it?
On top of that, I would like to know if I can easily terminate the agreement if it does not go well with me and what precautions should I take when doing this?

Hello @Kasem ,
[Conversion €1=$1.09 approximately equal] as of March 13, 2025
Did the €1 Plan Make It to the Year 2025?
— Most probably, there is a promo for €1 for “3 months” from October 31, 2024.
— Look at Shopify for current offers which may not apply to your region.
— In case it expires, you can take the like $29/month plan as chosen plans
Guide on how someone can join while still new
— Open Shopify’s page and select “Start free trial.”
— After filling the email, creating a password, choosing the store name – but you must pay €1/month for 3 months after 3 days free trial ends
— Take a tour around, put some items on sale, and see if everything works okay.
Leave without any hassle
How To Terminate
— Visit “Settings” > “Plan” > “Cancel subscription” on the store admin
— Key in your password to confirm — this should be done while the €1 offer is active and won’t
cost anything extra.
Safety measures to consider before leaving
— Clear all outstanding payments under “Billing,” then export data e. g., products as CSV file format.
— Deactivate apps, move domains and remember about upcoming payments.
Your opportunity with little at stake for hitting the nail on its head
Why is it recommended?
— For just €1, you may test it risk-free for many months—then leave easily.
— Beginners will find this offer great; it begins on shopify. com by the way.
The following are some steps to follow after this
— Register now, look out for the special offer and try it out.

Hi @Kasem
as of 2025, Shopify has reintroduced its promotional offer allowing new users to explore the platform at a minimal cost. You can start with a 3-day free trial and then enjoy your first month for just $1.
if you decide that Shopify isn't right fit for you, you can cancel your subscription at any time. To do so, log in to your Shopify admin panel, navigate to "Settings," then "Plan," and follow the prompts to deactivate your store. Ensure you cancel before the next billing cycle to avoid additional charges.

Hi
It’s great to hear that you’re excited to start your online store!
The Shopify €1/month plan was indeed a promotional offer, but it’s worth checking if it’s still available in 2025.
Sometimes, Shopify runs similar promotions to help new store owners get started.
To find the most accurate and up-to-date information, I recommend visiting the official Shopify website
Until this day(2025-3-25), it is still 1$/month for 3 month
check it here: https://www.shopify.com/pricing
Here’s how you can get started:
1. Visit the Shopify Website: Head over to shopify.com and check their pricing page.
2 . Sign Up for the Promotion (if available): Follow the instructions provided on the website to activate the €1/month plan.
3 .Start Building Your Store: Shopify makes it easy to set up your store, even if you’re a beginner.
If you want to cancel your plan:
Yes, you can easily terminate your subscription if it doesn’t work out for you. Here’s how:
Go to Your Shopify Admin Panel.
Navigate to Settings > Plan.
Click on Deactivate Store and follow the prompts.
🔍 Precautions to Take When Canceling:
Back Up Your Store Data: Export product lists, customer info, etc., just in case you want to reopen the store later.
Cancel Third-Party Subscriptions: If you’ve added any paid apps, make sure to cancel them individually to avoid unexpected charges.
