Hi everyone. Can someone help me and give me some tips on how I can increase our conversion rate for our site. Willing to hear feedback on what our website needs to improve. Our store is  kathrynhastingsco.com/

Work on call to actions, keep your webstore simple and clean.

 

Create a clear path for customers to add products to cart and check out, too many options confuse people

  • Design your new logo; it is too small on mobile.
  • Your announcement message 'All Waxes Ship Free in the US | New Custom Discount use WELCOME10'. Do you mean 'All Waxes Ship Free in the US | New Customer Discount use WELCOME10'
  • There is no product in this collection so please don't add it to your store

Thank you for your response. I do have products displayed however it is only displayed onced currency is changed to United States. Tried checking my products to other countries but it says the products are flammable and cant be seen on some areas.

First, the store looks very good and it is visible that a lot of effort has been put into it, good use of videos. There are a few things to improve but I stumbled on a big issue. I have tried  4-5 products and when trying to add to the cart I get the following error "Quantity selected exceeds current stock". Note that real customers would leave your site after 2-3 products. Did change currency but no changes. It would help if you investigated that.

For other things:

  • There is no contact or business information, which is a big red flag for me. No phone, address, business registration details, and so on.
  • On the homepage that banner is huge, and the button needs better placement
  • On the product page, as mentioned, Add to Cart needs to be full color and needs to stand out, it is almost invisible compared to Buy with ShopPay
  • IT also could use a section or two for more information, customer reassurance, and video if possible.

- Heatmaps & Visitor Recordings: Use tools like Hotjar or Crazy Egg to generate heatmaps and watch visitor session recordings. These will show you where people are clicking, scrolling, and what’s causing them to leave. It’s a fantastic way to identify usability issues and make changes accordingly.
- A/B Testing: Don’t hesitate to test different design elements, CTAs, product descriptions, or even prices. A/B testing tools like Google Optimize can help you find what works best for your audience.

2. Restock your products
I noticed that some of the collections you show on the homepage currently don’t have any products displayed. This can potentially lead to a less engaging experience for visitors and missed opportunities for sales. Stocking these collections with products or temporarily hiding empty collections could improve customer satisfaction and overall conversion. Having something for them to explore encourages them to stay longer on the site and potentially make a purchase.

3. Trust & credibility
Display security badges like SSL certification, verified payments, and trusted shipping carriers on your product page. These small badges can significantly boost confidence in your site’s legitimacy.

4. Mobile optimization
- Ensure the site is fully optimized for mobile, given the significant amount of traffic that comes from mobile devices.
- Test for mobile responsiveness, ensuring smooth navigation, quick load times, and an easy checkout process.

5. Limited-time offers
- Use scarcity and urgency to motivate action by implementing limited-time discounts, flash sales, or countdown timers on product pages.
- Display the number of items left in stock to create a sense of urgency (e.g., “Only 3 left in stock”).

6. Exit-intent pop-ups
- Use exit-intent technology to display a discount or free shipping offer when a visitor is about to leave without making a purchase.
- Offer an incentive for first-time buyers, such as 10% off for their first order.

7. Loyalty programs or Rewards
