All things Shopify and commerce
Difficult in getting sales. I'm having more than 1000 visitors a day but have only 4 orders. What can I do? Re-marketing? or running a promotion?
Hello @widhe3892,
Welcome to Shopify Community!
Re-marketing and running promotions are both great options to consider. Re-marketing allows you to target people who have already shown interest in your products or website, so they're more likely to convert.
Promotions can also be effective in encouraging people to make a purchase, especially if they feel like they're getting a good deal.
However, before diving into these tactics, it's important to make sure your website is optimized for conversions. Are your product descriptions clear and informative? Is your checkout process easy to navigate? Are there any technical issues that could be hindering the user experience?
Once you've addressed any potential barriers to conversion on your website, re-marketing and promotions can help give your sales a boost. Experiment with different strategies and see what works best for your business. Good luck!
Hello @widhe3892
Marketing your Shopify site can be an ongoing process, but there are some essential strategies that you can use to increase traffic, engagement, and ultimately sales. Here are some marketing plans for your Shopify site:
Search engine optimization (SEO): Optimize your website for search engines by using relevant keywords, and meta descriptions, and creating quality content. This can help improve your search engine rankings, making it easier for potential customers to find your website.
Social media marketing: Use social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn to promote your products, share updates, and engage with customers. Use targeted advertising to reach your audience and boost your brand awareness.
Email marketing: Build an email list and use email marketing to promote your products, share exclusive offers and discounts, and keep your customers informed about your brand.
Influencer marketing: Partner with influencers and bloggers in your industry to reach a wider audience and gain credibility. Influencers can help promote your products, generate buzz, and drive traffic to your website.
Content marketing: Create quality blog posts, videos, and other content that can help attract and engage your target audience. Use content to showcase your expertise and provide value to your customers.
Referral marketing: Encourage your customers to refer their friends and family to your website. Offer incentives for referrals, such as discounts or free products, to motivate customers to spread the word about your brand.
Paid advertising: Use paid advertising, such as Google AdWords, Facebook Ads, and Instagram Ads, to reach a wider audience and increase your website traffic.
Video Testimonial /Reviews: Request your customers to drop a nice review as people do check reviews before purchasing the product.
Analyze the website traffic: Determine the visitors' origin, the duration of their stay, and the pages they visit using tools like Google Analytics to make informed decisions about website improvement.
Testing different pricing levels can help determine which pricing strategy is working effectively or best suit your site audience.
Engaging with customers on social media and responding to their feedback can help improve products and services.
Offering a free trial or sample of products to potential customers or hosting a giveaway or contest on social media can increase engagement and attract new customers.
By implementing these marketing plans, you can increase your website traffic, build brand awareness, and generate more sales for your Shopify site.

Hello @widhe3892,
Greetings from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $5Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot! I am Gina, and I am here to help.
If you're getting a lot of traffic but not seeing many sales, there are a few strategies you can try to increase conversions.
1. Improve your website design
Make sure your website is well-designed and easy to navigate. Your homepage should clearly showcase your products and value proposition, and your product pages should include high-quality images, detailed descriptions, and customer reviews.
2. Optimize your checkout process
Make sure your checkout process is quick and easy to complete. Avoid asking for unnecessary information and offer multiple payment options to accommodate different preferences.
3. Use retargeting ads
Retargeting ads can help bring back customers who have shown interest in your products but haven't made a purchase yet. Set up retargeting campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and Google Ads to remind customers about the products they were interested in.
4. Offer promotions
Running a promotion can help incentivize customers to make a purchase. Consider offering a discount code or free shipping to encourage customers to complete their purchase.
5. Focus on customer service
Make sure you provide excellent customer service and are responsive to customer inquiries and concerns. This can help build trust and encourage customers to make a purchase.
6. Offer a loyalty program
Consider implementing a loyalty program to encourage repeat purchases and build customer loyalty. Offer rewards for referring friends, leaving product reviews, or making multiple purchases.
7. Test and optimize
Continuously test and optimize your website and marketing strategies to find what works best for your specific audience and products. Use data and analytics to identify areas for improvement and adjust your strategies accordingly.
Remember that increasing conversions takes time and effort, so don't get discouraged if you don't see immediate results. Keep testing and optimizing, and you'll eventually find the strategies that work best for your business.

Hi @widhe3892
You didn't mention how you were getting the 1000 visitors and if you had any add-to-carts but resulted in no sales. If you were running ads, maybe the first few things to look at would be the effectiveness of the ads and if your store is primed for sales (i.e. sufficient trust, social proof etc).
If you were getting the wrong people to your store in the first place, remarketing and running a promotion will not convince those people to buy.
Rather, I recommend to focus on fixing the fundamental issues before spending more money on remarketing and new promotions.
I have a couple of video resources; feel free to check out the links below
If you were getting lots of add-to-carts but no sales
If you are getting lots of store traffic but no add to carts
Cheers,
Clarice
