How to limit product quantity using unique codes in ecommerce?

Is there a simple solution for the following problem in Shopify?
A product is only available a certain number of times.
There are unique codes for the existing quantity that allow you to buy only one of them.

So:
There are 5 potatoes and 5 unique codes
Buyer 1 can buy a maximum of one potato with the code 12ab
Buyer 2 can buy a maximum of one potato with the code xz89
Buyer 3 also uses the code xz89 but cannot buy any of these potatoes because Buyer 2 has used the code
Buyer 4 has no code and cannot buy a potato
