All things Shopify and commerce
Hi Shopify Community,
i'm Sascha an new at this board. Aktually im am building a neew webshop using the Shopfify Craft theme.
While building a problem accured i actually can not solve by myself.
I want to have clickable links in the menu. I found a solution here, to change the css code in header-dropdown-menu.liquid.
It worked, but not with all links.
Actually the link "Hund" is clickable. Also the link "Barca and Cavom and Power of Nature a.s.o"
But the link "hundefutter" is not clickable.
The point ist, when i delete the categories/links "Barca and Cavom and Power of Nature a.s.o" the link "hundefutter" is then clickable.
What do i have to change in css?
i would be glad if you have any solution for me.
Sascha.
PS. sorry for my bad englisch. i know it should be better after all the years of english lessons ;o)

https://catamore-shop.myshopify.com/
The shop is actually not published.
best regards and thx for your fast response
Sascha
still need storefront password
still need store front password
I just changed it. There should be no password needed anymore
can you do You can do that by adding 2 lines of code in your header-mega-menu.liquid and header-dropdown-menu.liquid files
<a href="{{ link.url }}">
Line 2
Hi, Thx for your answer.
But i allready did this, like i wrote in the opening of this thread. Unfortunally it does not work when i use grandchild links.
When i us a parent and child link it works perfectly, but when i use a parent, a child and a grandchild link, only the parent and grandchilds are clickable. Somehow at this moment the child link is not anymore clickable
This is an accepted solution.

Hello SJ,
I am having a similar issue. I can share my code with you. The problem I am having is that my childlinks are not clickable in the dropdown menu. I managed to correct my links by adding what you see outlined in blue, and I imagine I need to change somewhere in the red outlined area for the childlinks, but I cannot figure it out for the life of me. It always does something weird, maybe because of the "Span" function?
Additionally, I would like for my grandchild dropdown menu to open to the side and not be sandwiched between the collections of my child menu.
Thanks in advance
can you please share the store url? or DM me for collaborator code so that i can look into it.
My collaborator code: 9604
ok just sent you collaborator access.
Sorry, can you send again... I rejected.
sent again.
What access do you need to view the code?
Online store theme code, navigation access.
Done
@JJsParadise ok
can you please test it ?
@JJsParadise is that what you were looking for?
Ohhhh, I see that you made it open on hover, which I like. Let's keep that, but I am looking to make the childlinks clickable. When you click the child links they do not redirect you to that specific collection, it just opens or closes that dropdown menu.
@JJsParadise ok hold on let me update it for you you just need to open the parent dropdown on hover not all the dropdown which are inside the parent? correct?
Nothing to do with hover. I like what you did there...
I want to only have clickable child links. So when I click "Anime hoodies, Anime mouse pads, etc.." it opens that collection.
Also SJ, I want to make it so the grandchild links open to the side of the child links if possible. Now when they open, it opens in between the child links.
Like this below. I can't seem to figure out how to replicate this childlink to grandchildlink relationship in my current theme.
its updated please have a look.
