All things Shopify and commerce
Hello,
My issue is that we have some products that have multiple part numbers but are essentially the same item. I would like to have those part numbers pull from the same "pool" of stock. Right now I'm just adding my inventory when, I receive it, to just one part number. Issues arise with inventory levels when the other part numbers are ordered. Is there a way to solve this issue by allowing them to all share the same inventory? Maybe with upgrading to a different tier or something within Shopify or a third party app? I've done light google searches on the issue and haven't really found an answer or solution. Any help with this would super helpful!
I am having the same issue. Selling packages that included multiple sku's. I would like to be able to add the sku of the product being added as a Variant and not create a new sku which just combines the two. When this would sell online, (main product with variant ) it will not remove both sku's from inventory. I Have read into product splitting and something about linking a URL but have not had any success.
Yeah, It seems like a simple issue to resolve but alas, I've yet to get a good answer on how to.
