All things Shopify and commerce
I have a very frustrating issue.... in every automated email sent by my shopify store, there is always a bracket (Shopify) right after my store name, so my customers always see (Shopify) whenever they receive a shipping notification, how do I remove the (Shopify) ? My store name that's in the shopping settings doesn't have Shopify at all, and I also removed Powered by Shopify, but in ALL Shopify generated emails, there always is (Shopify) it is really terrible! Any solution? Thanks!
For example
Sent by Title
Anne's Pet Care (Shopify) Your order has been shipped
Hey Andy,
You may want to check how your templates are setup for most of the store events here https://*.myshopify.com/admin/settings/notifications
Hope that helps!
Hey,
I have the same issue but I am not be ablt to remove that. Could you have a more detailed tutorial?
Much appreciated!!!
Thanks
Hector
Hi,
If you go to Admin - Settings - Notification, you will find all the email templates. Check if you have something related to Shopify there. The store name tag is {{ shop.name }}. You have to check the notification related to that email.
If everything looks good there, check your store name in Admin - General.
Hope it will help
Shopify is showing all the time. 😞 😞 … It's free marketing for them. I don't like when companies do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi,
Can you please provide a picture with this Shopify tag?
Also, if you can, please show us the code from email template locate in Settings (down left) > Notification > Chose email template in which you receive this Shopify Tag.
Was this ever solved?
I have the same problem, what should I do?
Hi everyone it looks like this logo appears in the bottom of the email only when you send to your own email adresse or you do buy a product using the same email adresse of you shopify account, but the user when they pass order they don't receive it.
I concur, found this to be the case myself after reading your comment.
Here is the thing.....
I went to settings, notifications, then I tried the confirmation email... it displays the language (The liquid or whatever it is name) and I checked each part that has the word Shopify (if you have a windows, just click Ctrl + f and type Shopify and the windows will show you where exactly you find the word you want). However, after deleting the Shopify word, I made a test. I set-up the test mode and I made a simulated order. But guess what, confirmation e-mail was not sent. BUT, when I went back to the confirmation email language and clicked the "Revert to default" to restore the language to the original setting (Basically I put back the word Shopify again) and I did a simulated order again, the confirmation email was recevied.
I do hate this, the Word Shopify whether to stay there or the emails would not be sent.
