i have two quick questions:

1. I tried to connect an external domain to my shopify shop and it worked for a few days but now i keep getting a message that "SSL pending"  and the domain is not crawled on google. Domain name is:  blackshairproducts.com

2. I set up a shopify recently. initially wanted to sell lingerie so i set up with a lingerie name and now decided to sell hair products. How do i change my shopify name from "womenslingerie-site.myshopify.com" to something else. the "lingerie" on the name is causing the link blocked on work computer.

Hi there @broadex!

I checked out the domain you shared with me here from my location and it is currently showing as a holding page from what appears to be your registrar.

Could you check for me if you've followed the steps given here to connect a third-party domain to your Shopify store?

Let me know if you've been able to update the DNS records for your domain, which your domain registrar might be able to help you with.

Be sure the A record and CNAME record are in place okay, and also allow for some time to pass after updating these for the changes to be reflected online.

Once your domain has been added to your Shopify admin and your DNS records are updated as per that guide, your domain should then lead to your store okay.

As for the 'myshopify.com' domain, your store is set up under, these are unique to each store that is created here and are used to track each individual account.

These domains cannot be changed, edited, or deleted in any way as they're tied to each account as outlined.

Let me know how you get on with your domain and anything else we can help out with!
