How to search listing of Shopify stores by products sold, e.g. Pet supplies

Shopify Groups claims to allow other Shopify store owners to search for other stores, but the functionality is not there.  I would like to identify other suppliers and resellers of pet supplies to begin reseller discussions.  How can I do this?

You know I don't have a solution for the whole Shopify Group situation but you might find this very helpful:

You can do a search on Google like this: 

inurl:myshopify.com pet supplies

Essentially what it will do is check if it is a Shopify store and then use the keywords pet supply. You will notice that every site that shows up is indeed a Shopify store and also for pet supplies. So this is not much of a way to socialize unless you grab their email on their site, but you can at least see some of the things they are selling.

Thank you -very helpful. Wouldn’t it make sense to have some type of “matching service” (eg opt in) to build cross-polinization?
