All things Shopify and commerce
Hey All
I am a long time developer with two days of Shopify experience at a new job.
I am tasked with setting up a kind of hub and spoke model with all of our ecommerce websites. A single central backend hub with all of our inventory that is linked to our multiple front end artist websites that consumers can purchase from.
Through my research I have read a lot about sales channels being available for third party points of sale, but I have not read that they can or can not be a dedicated website.
What would the potential pros and cons be of trying to set up the architecture with our websites being sales channels to one backend store and what could be another good option?
Again I am very new and probably thinking about this too much like a developer, but any advice helps!
