How to setup email correctly

Hi guys. 

 

The domain that my store uses is a 3rd party domain. I also have a Google Workspace email attached to it (hello@mydomain.etc) that I'm using for business purposes. I am a bit confused as to how do I set up an additional email address "no-reply@mydomain.etc" that can be used as the "Sender email" from the Notifications tab in Settings.

 

I've tried putting the CNAME records in my DNS settings but I can't get it to work properly. Can someone help me please?

Thank you for reaching out and posting this question. 

 

If you're using a third-party domain and an email from Google Workspace, then you'll also need to authenticate your third-party domain. As indicated on our guide, due to recent changes with Gmail and Yahoo, you'll need to add Shopify's DMARC record to your DNS as well. If you need help with modifying the DNS for your domain, then we'd recommend reaching out to your domain provider.
