Hi,

This is Richard at PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder app.

It's unusual for an HTML sitemap to appear in search results. Typically, sitemaps are in XML format and are intended for search engine crawlers, not for direct user viewing.

Potential Causes and Solutions:

  1. Incorrect Sitemap Configuration:

    • Double-check your theme settings: Ensure that your theme is correctly configured to generate and submit an XML sitemap to search engines.
    • Verify Sitemap Submission: Check your Google Search Console to ensure that the correct XML sitemap is submitted and indexed.
    • Review .htaccess Rules: If you have custom .htaccess rules, ensure they aren't interfering with the correct serving of your sitemap.
  2. Caching Issues:

    • Clear Browser Cache: Try clearing your browser cache and hard reloading the page to see if the issue persists.
    • Purge Shopify Cache: Go to Online Store > Themes, select your active theme, and click Actions > Purge Cache.
    • Check Third-Party App Caching: If you're using any third-party apps, check their settings for caching options and clear their cache if necessary.
  3. Theme-Specific Issues:

    • Dawn Theme Configuration: While the Dawn theme is generally well-optimized, there might be specific settings or customizations that could be affecting the sitemap's behavior. Check your theme settings for any options related to sitemaps or SEO.
    • Consult Theme Documentation: Refer to the Dawn theme's documentation or contact Shopify support for specific guidance on troubleshooting sitemap issues.

Hoping my solution helps you solve your problem.

Hi,

This is Richard at PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder app.

You want to display the pre-tax value of items on invoices or other backend areas while maintaining the tax-inclusive pricing on the storefront. This is often necessary for accurate financial reporting and tax calculations.

Potential Solutions:

While Shopify doesn't offer a direct, built-in solution, here are a few approaches you can consider:

1. Leverage Shopify's API:

  • Custom Application: Develop a custom application that interacts with the Shopify API to fetch order data.
  • Data Extraction: Extract the necessary information, including pre-tax prices, from the order data.
  • Report Generation: Create customized reports that display the pre-tax values alongside the tax-inclusive amounts.

2. Utilize Third-Party Apps:

  • Accounting Apps: Explore accounting apps like QuickBooks Online or Xero. These apps often integrate with Shopify and can provide detailed reports, including pre-tax values.
  • Reporting Apps: Consider using specialized reporting apps that can extract and analyze order data, providing insights into pre-tax values and other relevant metrics.

Hoping my solution helps you solve your problem.

Best regards,

Richard | PageFly
