How to stop the Bots from building carts

Is there a way to stop this from happening? 

I have one constantly making carts to the values of millions multiple times of day, every day. 

It really messes up analytics and my abandoned cart rate etc. 

The email is generally johnsmithstore. 

It is driving me insane. Can anybody help?

Generally speaking, to prevent bots from attacking your store, you can enable the Enable Google reCAPTCHA feature. Here are the steps:

Go to your Shopify admin.
Navigate to Online Store > Preferences.
In the Spam protection section, enable Google reCAPTCHA.

However, if enabling reCAPTCHA doesn't help, you may want to consider installing a bot protection app from the Shopify App Store. There are several options available that can provide additional security measures against bot attacks.

We already have this! This doesn’t help against the Add To Cart and Abandoning it Spam Bots. Are they testing Stolen Credit Cards? Why isn’t Shopify caring about this? We’re getting hit with 400 Bot Abandoned Carts a day! We also had to turn off our Newsletter subscription where we communicate with our customers because we can’t keep it clean. Please don’t ignore this Shopify. Our metrics are now worthless, not to mention what it does to our marketing planning. Please help.
