All things Shopify and commerce
As a pro shop owner, we're currently facilitating team sales and seeking a way to streamline the process. Our aim is to establish individual team sites for each program, complete with their unique website URLs and corresponding QR codes. It's not crucial for the URL to feature my main shop name; what matters most is ensuring each team has its dedicated space.
I'm inquiring whether Shopify provides a feature or offers an app that enables the creation of multiple pages tailored exclusively for each team. These pages should be accessible solely to the respective team's players and parents, allowing them to place orders seamlessly. Additionally, I'm interested in understanding whether orders made through these individual team pages can be integrated back into my main Shopify backend. It's essential that the order processing remains distinct to ensure efficient management.
Thank you for your assistance in clarifying these inquiries.

Hi @PPHL,
What you're looking for here is quite complex and would not be possible without an app and/ or some coding changes at very least. When you speak about seperate pages, do you mean seperate pages on the storefront or in the backend (admin) as well? Is the primary goal here to just find a way to better track sales figures for different members of staff?

Hey Victor,
Sorry about the delay! Using an app sounds like a great idea for what I'm describing. Essentially, I'm looking to create separate storefront pages while keeping the backend unified. Let me break it down for you.
Imagine I own a pro shop that caters to both regular customers and team sales clients, such as high school teams or youth hockey teams. While I offer hockey sticks, pucks, and gear for everyone on my main storefront, I also want to provide a personalized shopping experience for my team sales clients.
So, I'm thinking of setting up individual stores within my main shop – one for each client group. These "sub stores" would be exclusive to each client, accessible only to them. When they visit their store, I want them to feel like they're in their own space. But, here's the kicker: I want them to be able to navigate seamlessly within their store, with the home button always bringing them back to their sub-store homepage, not the main site.
In essence, it's like having multiple stores within one, where I can customize everything from the header to the navigation bar for each client group.
What do you think? Can an app help achieve this?
Thanks
Hey @PPHL
I appreciate the extra details here. This experience may be doable if you were on the PLUS plan and hosting multiple store admins or using expansion stores.
This is not something that could be done using a standard Shopify plan though. It's important to note that while you can customize the storefront experience, layout and templates, the admin is pretty static in most cases. The layout and functionality of it cannot be changed for the most part. Staff accounts can be restricted to certain areas of the admin, but the admin would have details for all the stores included. So if a staff account has access to products, that staff would be able to see all products in the store.
I hope that clarifies the information you needed in this case!

Hi - I also need to do something similar. Allow clubs to purchase on their own dedicated page but keep inventory unified. How did you set this up? Thanks.
