Hi,

I currently use google tag manager to track usage of my website and reporting in GA4.

I want to also track transaction data, such as :

1. Transaction completion

2. Transaction amount

3. Original campaign/source of the transaction

Do i have to set up separate tags for this, or can it all be done in one tag?

I also use the pandeces app to trigger when the tag is fired, so if someone doesnt consent to cookies the tags dont fire. Not sure this is relevant though.

If you want to use GTM you can submit a GA4 event with the correct parameters, listed here: https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/ga4/reference/events?client_type=gtag#p...

You can also setup a Google Analytics 4 event directly in the additional scripts for the checkout.

So there are two methods you can proceed with.
