How to update customer notes

A registration form, which takes the customer details like date of birth, country, mobile number and gender at the time of registration. After login customer can update his profile.

We are storing this extra from fields value in customer -> notes section.

Our task is to update this notes, whenever customer update his profile.

We are using html and javascript. No backend is involved here.

Hey @TheWebLab24,

While it is possible to store information from the registration form directly into a customer note, as far as I know, it is specifically not  possible to access/edit the note in any way from the storefront.

Instead, I would recommend using an app such as Helium Customer Fields, which allows you to save registration data directly into standard Shopify fields for things like the phone number and country, and stores custom data such as birthdate and gender into customer metafields (you can also save any info into the customer note if needed). You can also set up an edit account form to allow users to update their own account data at any time.
