I'll be happy to share with you some great app recommendations and resources so you're able to bulk edit your product prices, descriptions and much more. What kind of products do you sell? I understand the importance of being able to bulk edit multiple products at once to help save you and your team time.  

First, you can try using the bulk editor within your Shopify admin to bulk edit products, variants, collections etc. You're able to bulk edit products directly within the Product page by selecting the box next to Products, then clicking Edit Products that will redirect you to the Bulk Editor. I'll also share this resource from our help center for more information on bulk editing products.

The app Ablestar Bulk Product Editor is a user friendly app that allows you to bulk edit products, product prices, descriptions, tags, inventory levels, meta fields, Google shopping and much more. There are 4 different ways this app can help you bulk edit your products: 

1. Filter and modify your products.
2. Uploading a spreadsheet and editing specific values.
3. Create products from a spreadsheet / export product fields to a spread sheet.
4. Set up recurring edits to run at fixed intervals.

A second app recommendation is Bolt Product Bulk Editor that also allows you to bulk edit products, product titles, descriptions, tags, prices and revert back to the modified products to their original levels. 

Using bulk editor apps can certainly save you time and allow you to complete your store tasks a lot quicker! Looking for an app where I can select and deselect individual items then edit all selected.

To my understanding you are looking for an app where you can edit the selected items / products once you've selected and deselected individual items? 

You may need to use an additional bulk editing app like Shoptopus that allows you to create individual tasks / bulk editing for your products. In the app's description it is also mentioned that it is adding new features and functionalities to how their app functions. An option is to select Get Support for Shoptopus to see if this can be a functionality that the app developer can look into.

Since this isn't native in the Shopify admin, I will submit a note to our developers to look into implementing this feature in the future. I understand how important having this functionality in the admin to be able to edit the selected products / items. Hi, do these apps update the info in real-time? Changing the bulk edit has made our work 10 times longer instead of helping has put us behind, we have over 8k items and the previous bulk edit was such an easy and helpful tool which now doesn't go by pages, takes forever to scroll to go styles not on the first page, saving the changes takes forever, honestly not sure who changed it but can't even make the cell wider to see the complete description of the item, we need something user friendly not something that will make give us more work. Just wondering how everyone else is dealing with this issue. Is there any chance at all that the developers would put this back to how it was so we as customers will be happy?

Agreed! The new bulk editing format is completely useless!

I have over 7k products and hate the new bulk edit for the same reason.  I have quite a complex tag system and I am now completely unable to use bulk edit.

Agreed! It is so upsetting that this does not work anymore. I don't understand why they would change anything with it. Unless they are trying to push additional Apps to purchase/load, which would be ridiculous.

Throwing our hat in here - take a look at Mixtable. Mixtable is a spreadsheet like Google Sheets, but with all Excel-style formulas and behavior. And it seamlessly syncs to and from Shopify, in real-time. You can bulk edit your Shopify store's data including core product data and metafields. And because it is a spreadsheet you have standard capabilities built in, such as filtering, copy+paste, etc.

You can use QuickEdit - Bulk Product Edit to easily bulk editor your Shopify products and variants. Many fields are supported, such as prices, titles, descriptions, metafields, and so much more.  Using the app is straightforward: Simply specify the conditions for which products to edit, then add actions to perform to those products, and run the task. Track the progress of the bulk edit in the history page, and undo the task if necessary to revert all the changes. Scheduled or recurring tasks and reverts are also supported, depending on your subscription.

The app is easy to use and has a great user interface, so I would highly recommend anyone needing a bulk editor to try QuickEdit.
