I am getting a spam abandoned checkout every 5 min

I am getting a spam abandoned checkouts every 5 minutes from a gmail.com account always different with letters and numbers. It is just 1 item and always the same. I have tried apps but I can't find the IP address and they don't go past the abandoned cart point so the apps are not working. Any help would be great. It is messing with my analytics.

I have 59 today it is 8 in the morning here. I started a few days ago and is increasing quickly. Same $44 product. Very frustrating. I have tried a bunch of apps nothing is working. I can't get the IP address to block it because Shopify doesn't collect it on abandoned carts. I am not understanding why it is happening.

I turned the item into a draft for an hour and then re published. So I haven't had any more of the abandoned carts. I don't think this is necessarily a solution but it has stopped it for now.

you can enable re-captcha to stop spam abandoned checkout. To enable re-captcha go to your online sore -> Preferences and enable the re-captcha checkbox

That was the first thing I checked it was already done. So didn't work.

If you are still getting Spam Abandoned Checkout you can try this approach 

Hide Add To Cart button from guest users and only show the button to your customers in this way only the real customers will be able to add the products to cart

I am having the same issue. It’s been about 30 in the past few weeks. All the same product, address changed by one number, similar names.
