I have been trying to get help from Shopify for almost a week now. This isn't some stupid glitch on my store or a function is being weird. This is about my hard-earned money. I have been attempting to switch my bank account for a week now. I am entering the correct information, but it keeps telling me that the old bank account does not match Shopify's records. The thing is.... IT DOES. I have gotten my bank involved. I have the original bank paperwork that I used to add it to Shopify. Still won't work. I have messaged support under my created ticket over a dozen times with zero response. The old bank account is closed and yet they are still trying to send payouts even though I have requested holds, requested help updating the bank, and even changed my payout schedule. Has this helped? NO! I have contacted support chat every single day and they say "I am so sorry for the trouble. Rest assured our team is working very quickly to help you. Please continue to watch your emails and we will be in touch very soon!"
I have over $7000 tied up in this mess but it means nothing to them. I have never experienced an issue like this before and I am enraged. I can't get access to my money but of course... they have made every bit they can off my processing fees and they've made sure to collect my monthly fee and emails. My money though,,, who cares.
