I believe I've been scammed, help getting my money back or investigate?

I ordered a drone from the Shopify store mentioned below but received a fake package containing a bar of soap instead. I attempted to locate the store's contact details but was unable to find any. I kindly request Shopify to take strict action against the store owner and process a refund for my purchase. If no action is taken, I may have to escalate the matter to consumer court for fraud committed on the Shopify platform.

I am sorry that happened to you. There are scammers everywhere. 

Shopify can not refund you and they are not responsible for bad people using their platform. You can and you should report a merchant here https://www.shopify.com/legal/tools/report-an-issue/report-a-merchant

I just checked and on checkout, there is just cash on delivery so I guess it is not an online transaction so you can not contact your bank.

Not sure if you can find out the address of the sender from a package.

But that store is for sure a fake/scam store, all the red flags are there:

• ncr31p-kx as the store name should be a good enough warning
• store has a default template with almost nothing from the content, except that the product
• The price for a drone sounds too good to be true, doesn't it? Plus no images, it could be a small drone keychain.
• no contact details except in privacy policy: gadgetgenius923@gmail.com or contact us at Kapil Vihar Colony, Aligarh, A block 147, Aligarh, UP, 202001, IN. and that is most likely a fake address

Hope you do somehow return your money, but also hope you learn from this and be safe in the future.
