All things Shopify and commerce
Hi,
I recently started to change some of my file names to be more SEO friendly. Every time I do that, Shopify automatically disconnects the file from the page. I need to manually find the file (pictures in this case) and add it to the page.
As I want to change a lot of file names in the next few weeks, it will take up way more time when I have to find and add the picture back to its original place.
Is there a way to not have this issue? I understand that it "would" be better to upload any files straight away with the proper SEO-adjusted filename. But I am where I am. Can you help?
Hi,
This is Richard at PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder app.
Unfortunately, Shopify doesn't have a built-in feature to automatically reassign files after a name change.
Hoping my solution helps you solve your problem.
