All things Shopify and commerce
I have scheduled a collection. I run a website where I have drops every Sunday at 3pm.
I have figured out how to schedule the collection to show up at 3pm, but if I put the products into stock before that, they are searchable and people can buy them.
How do I make it so none of the products are available until 3pm, and I drop about 100-125 items, I dont want to have to do it product by product. Is there a way to make it so all the products don't show up?
Please help,
thank you
David
wondering this as well.
Hi, all!
Thanks for posting your question to the Shopify Community.
I understand you have a Collection that is scheduled however, the products within that scheduled collection are appearing in your storefront's search bar. Products in a scheduled collection might show up in search results because the search function indexes all visible items, including those in upcoming collections.
If you're looking to hide specific products from the search bar, you could try the suggestion listed in this Shopify Community post. Another option is exploring the app Search Veil from the Shopify App Store. This app allows you to select certain products that you do not want to show up in search results.
