I have been trying to cancel my subscription for months -- Shopify keeps billing me

It seems impossible to get ahold of anyone at this godforsaken company. I long ago moved to SamCart, which has better services and actual customer service. Would highly recommend! For now, can anyone tell me how to get ahold of a real person at Shopify to ask them to stop STEALING MY MONEY. Horrible business practice.

Very dissatisfied customer -- calling my bank now.

Thank you for reaching out to us, and I’m sorry to hear you haven’t been able to get the support you need.

 

In the meantime, make sure that your store has been properly closed and apps uninstalled to cease all future billing immediately. 

To close your store: 

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Plan.

  2. Click Cancel subscription or Pause or cancel subscription.

  3. Review the options to pause your subscription, or sell your store.

  4. If you still want to cancel, then click Cancel subscription and close store.

  5. Select a reason for the cancellation, and then click Continue.

  6. Enter your password, and then click Close store.
