I NEED A FIX!!! Google not indexing my site that has multiple currencies :(

I have a Shopify store and with 9K pages on Google Search Console have been flagged as redirects due to the multiple currencies I have available via Geolocation. How do I fix this? I have tried to add hreflang codes as guided on a Shopify call with an adviser to the site but I don't think that worked

Hi @LuvAlwayz3,

Indexing issues with multiple currencies are common when geolocation settings cause redirects. Here’s what you can do:

  1. Ensure your hreflang tags are correctly set up to indicate language and region for each version of your page.
  2. Consider using canonical tags to point Google to the main version of your product pages.
  3. An app like SEOPro can also help audit several SEO issues. It identifies and suggests improvements for meta tags, descriptions, and bulk edits, ensuring pages are optimized for SEO.

Thanks for this info Phil! I have set up hreflang tags and will consider using canonical tags to point to the main version of my product page 🙂 I will check out your app also 😀
