I need help completely deleting an account

I deactivated my old account and added a new one but the older one doesn't want the newer one to show up on Shopify or Facebook. What should I do to completely delete the old one in the whole system ?

Welcome to the Shopify Community, and thanks for sharing your question.

 

To further understand the issue, could you provide clarification on how the new store doesn't appear on Shopify? If you're able to share screenshots or replicate the issue in a video.

 

Additionally, are you having issues connecting the new store to the Facebook and Instagram Sales Channel as the old one is still connected? Could you also share a screenshot in regard to the Facebook issue? 

 

You should be able to see your new account upon logging in, and the old account will appear in an Inactive list and should not affect how you log into the new store/what appears.

 

If you're having permission issues or trouble connecting your Shopify account to Facebook, you'll need to get in touch with Meta Support directly. I'll share steps on how to do this below.

 

How to contact Meta Support:

  • In your Shopify admin from the Facebook and Instagram Sales Channel, click Get Support.
  • You should then be redirected to a Request Submission form in the admin where you will choose the topic: Account connection and permissions.
  • Following that you will be prompted to log into your Facebook account, outline the issue in the submission box, and a chat or email option will appear. You should then be directed to the Meta Support team.

problem is that even though my current store domain is: thedecorstore.co
and the name is: The Decor Store, I can't seem to get rid of
homeandabodeproducts.com and others.
Please help me to completely and definitely delete from Shopify system the
following stores related me : homeandabodeproducts.com ; Billy Decor (
823588742694683 USD) ; Shopify keepkool2 (1688652165 business) ; Billy
Decor (489540189499834) ; NexusFinds (489540189499834).
* The only online store I want to keep in Shopify system is :
Store Name : The Decor Store
Website: www.thedecorstore.co

Hi Victoria,

I really appreciate your efforts to help resolving my problems. But truly I would like to completely delete from Shopify system the following stores related to me : homeandabodeproducts.com; Billy Decor (823588742694683 USD) ; Shopify keepkool2 (1688652165 business) ; Billy Decor (489540189499834) ; NexusFinds (489540189499834).  I'm not good in computer technology, and these worthless accounts are confusing me in all aspects.  When I try to do some ads campaigns on google, facebook and instagram just for thedecorstore.co , automatically the system oriented those ads campaigns to the worthless accounts mentioned above. PLEASE DELETE THEM FOR ME SO I COULD HAVE A PEACE OF MIND. Thank you.

Hey Victoria,
Shopify and all its members; partners and customers including myself can
count on you. You are a very positive and helpful person.
I appreciate your efforts trying to solve my problems.
I've hired a Shopify's Expert to entirely solve all the problems. I paid
him already and he said that he has started to work on my problems. I hope
that he will finish as soon as possible so I can start the ads campaign
and make some money. Remember, I started this business with Shopify about
two years ago and I did not make any penny yet. And I always pay my
subscriptions with Shopify and AppScenic, etc. I really need help.

Thanks again Victoria,
I will follow your suggestion as soon as the Shopify’s partner technician
that hired complete his duties on my online store. I paid for his invoice
but he didn’t tell me yet when he will finish to fix the problems.
