Hello everyone,

I’d like to thank anyone in advance who can help me with this issue.

A few days ago, I received an email (email@email.shopify.com)from Shopify sent to an older email address that we previously used for our store. You can see it in the first image-It said I can extend the trial period by spending $1. At the time, we thought it might have been sent by mistake because we still receive monthly Shopify invoices for our subscription plan. So, we didn’t pay much attention to it.

However, today, the email address we currently use for our store received another email(help.shopifysales.com@gmail.com) (see the second image) stating that our account has been flagged as inactive and will be deactivated. This is confusing because we’ve been actively running our business.

I’d like to know if this email is legitimate. I’ve read on forums that Shopify’s official emails don’t use the @gmail.com domain, but I’m not entirely sure.

Hi, Kyle, thank you so much ! I also asked Shopify's customer support and they said this was a scam email.
