I have kids clothing store, I just update my hot sale item quantity in shopify products page. All was good, but in moring my ads were running, but with zero (0) order. I checked my product page and it was all sold out. I go back to my shopify product page and i checked the quantity and its all were in minus (-).

I updated again all my varients, sales starts again, but after 3 hours same thing happens and one varient automatically show me minus (-) value. PLZ HELP me on this.

You're not alone. I spoke with shopify support and they said they weren't aware of anyone else having this problem, so I'm chiming in with a +1 on this issue.

 

Please stop breaking stuff shopify.

I already spoke directly to shopify support. I am not sure if you work for support, but if you do, the details, including affected products, are already sent over.

 

This isn't in our heads, it's an actual bug (and the previous similar issue on 1/30/23 was likely due to them trying to slowly roll out this new setup)

I just find a solution of my problem, I checked all my installed apps, they are all good, but in recent days i just created an api for a pos provider company. When I look into "adjustment history" of proplematic products, I find out that, that api which i created to connect with 3rd party pos was messing up with product quantity. After deleting their api, all is going well.

Sharing this, might be helpful workaround.
