We’re planning to build a service-based marketplace website similar to this example:

AC Services in UAE Here are all the examples available that we have to show. We want to offer a platform where multiple service providers (like plumbers, AC technicians, electricians, etc.) can register themselves, list their services, and receive bookings from customers. Here is what we are looking for in terms of features:

Required Features:

1. Service Provider Registration:
   Users (service providers) should be able to sign up, create a profile, and list their services.

2. Service Listings:
   Each provider can add service details, pricing, availability, location, etc.

3. Customer Booking System:
   Customers can browse services, select a provider, book in advance, and pay upfront.

4. Admin-Controlled Escrow or Delayed Payment:
   After the service is completed, the provider should receive payment from the admin. So we need a mechanism where payment is held until the task is completed.

Our Main Question:

Is it possible to build such a services marketplace system on Shopify?

Or would Shopify be too limited for this and we should consider WordPress or other platforms instead?

We would love to hear if anyone has done something similar on Shopify or if there are apps/integrations that can help us achieve this.
